In the days following the election, Trump expressed deep frustration about how Christie was handling the transition. In particular, he vented about how the governor had loaded up the team with lobbyists, the very class of people Trump had campaigned against, with his calls to drain the swamp in Washington. The president-elect also noticed that Christie had stocked his team with old New Jersey friends and allies.
There were other issues. Once the dust settled from their surprise win, the Trump team noticed that Christie had done little to vet potential administration picks or to dig into potential conflicts of interests. With Democrats eager to pounce on any early mistake, it was an oversight they simply couldnt afford.
If it is a false story, where is Christie right now as a Trump transition team member/leader/appointer?
“If it is a false story”
Christie was moved out, Politico might know the reason or maybe they just made it up. They were horrible during the election, they always had an inside source that was dead wrong
And people like Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham fell for it ... at least for awhile. Maybe they're over him now.
Christie benefitted from a lack of knowledge of what he's really about. He is (a) unethical, (b) not a genuine conservative, and (c) an opportunist. Those of us on his own local scene have known this since the early '90s.
Seems to me that only Christie would have been yakking about this. The Trump team has played things close to the vest and tight lipped
I fell for him too.
Wow, here’s a guy willing to take on the dim establishment.
But then I liked Glen Beck way back also.
No more on both counts.
Bastard or /b/tard?
I must concur with you on this. It behooves all who voted for voted for Donald Trump to keep that salt shaker handy and ingest a grain or two no matter who is writing or reporting the news...that extends to the to sources labeled liberal, conservative and all of those in between. No one has “cornered” the absolute truth save for God and His word.
Trump said before the election it was $100,000,000. Maybe more since.
Fat boy likes to flaunt his authority.
fire that f-cking Christie
