I always shied away from anything with a heel. I was looking for sandals at DSW summer of 2015 and the great manager there (we have a semi-friendship now,,I go there so often),,,she steered me to some Clarks wedge sandals. She swore they were comfy even though not flat. They have a 2 1/2 total heel too. Darned if they aren’t my favorite sandals! I wore the first pair around the store to test drive them (as I do with all shoes) and bought a pair in black, and I had her order me a pair in taupe. I am tall, and sometimes feel too tall in heels, but those wedges are so comfy and I don’t feel tall, I feel great in them. Clarks used to all be so ugly. But they have a nice assortment of pretty shoes now. I sometimes try on for size at DSW, and then if the price is cheaper at QVC I order from them (in the case of my mary janes). Also sometimes DSW doesn’t have the huge size selection of QVC, with many widths as well. QVC has a 30 day unconditional return policy. You can wear shoes for that long and still get a full refund. I love that policy. DSW does not have such a policy.

Good luck, I think Clarks are worth a look at QVC.com.
Lots of customer feedback there too, so others can tell you if they liked them or not. Many times I didn’t buy something on QVC.com based on poor reviews, and many times bought from great reviews.

Cheers!

Buy Clarks on QVC when the have specials. Otherwise, you can get better deals online or in the stores. Once you start buying a certain amount directly through Clarks, they start sending you coupons, and you can save even more.
