Karma is a beach isn’t it. Harry Reid rammed through this changed in the Senate rules, which will now be used against the Democrats.
However, as I understand, the filibuster rules still apply to Supreme Court appointments sent for Senate confirmation.
So, I expect the Democrats to filibuster, or otherwise try to derail, Trump’s Supreme Court appointment. The Democrats are angry that the Senate never took up the nomination of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court, so part of their strategy on handling Trump’s Supreme Court nomination, will be payback.
The Senate has frozen Mr Obama’s current SC pick due to the Biden precedent. Dems can thank Fondlin’ Joe for the goal-line stand my Mitch and the Reps.

In the end though, Trump’s nominees will be approved. If they are not, then the “Nuclear Option” needs to be extended to the SCOTUS nominees. Payback is a Bitch!
Yeah but if it’s Cruz, they’ll probably line up to get him out of the Senate.
Like my future mother in law said the day I married her son:
“He’s YOUR problem, now.” :)
*she was right; we’re no longer married. lol*
Time to collect quotes from dems about how the president deserves to have his nominees approved. Not that hypocrisy b others them of course.
Should the Republican Senate majority change the rule regarding Supreme Court nominees? Would it be wise?
Is Janice Rogers Brown available?
. . .but as Reid was talking about killing the Filibuster on Supreme Court nominees, we ought to give him that as a going away “up yours!” . . .
Can Trump keep reappointing the same person until they approve his appointment?
