Good question. If you really want a kick, you should read the piece in the NYT about Melania Trump’s sartorial taste.
Just imagine— even in a $1,500 blouse, Melania looks like she went on a shopping spree, rather than having someone “dress her.”
How does this NYT fashion writer imagine this sounds to most Americans? Or does she think that her fellow Manhattanites have the only opinions that matter?

Top that off with liberal arrogance - which is especially funny considering Democrats have been losing everything for the past 8 years: lost the Presidency, the Senate, the House, vast majority of Governorships and two thirds of State Legislatures... And still they speak with force and haughtiness - as if speaking to losers, rather than the winners.
I agree, find some laws under which they can be sued, as a sitting Governor and private citizen.

Trump told the cast to apologize, not the audience.
“The good news that surfaces from this hate, is that these fools and idiots continue the continuing, marching, coming destruction of the Democrat party!!!”
It’s a good point. These actors, comically and unwittingly, just created thousands and thousands of more Trump supporters.
When I saw the title I was concerned. Then I read the blurb and saw the title was incorrect.
With free speech, the AUDIENCE (general public) should be free to boo. Imagine if OJ Simpson after being acquitted was in there, or Hillary Clinton. The President should not call for shutdown of free speech.
However, President elect Trump wants the PRODUCTION / CAST of Hamilton to apologize and they should. The audience paid good money and what happens on stage is what they paid for. The cast doing what they did for political reasons is appalling. No matter who was in the audience.
But they are shallow and ignorant and they won’t apologize.
Trump is not "thin skinned". He is fighting back! I heard this complaint throughout the campaign. Trump won by fighting back! I'm glad he does. I think those who are offended by it are too thin skinned.
After reading the starement bolded, it hit me how the cast was focused on the word DIVERSE.
To divert, you need something to divert FROM. This whole diverse thing is not a push for America to be colorblind like the dream of MLK, and how I grew up. They want to demonize white people. It is now not ok among the left to be born with white skin.
A few years ago I had an opportunity to take my now departed mom to see a concert by a 60’s British pop duo. The concert was part of a series of shows produced by a friend.
The show began as the two came out on stage and chose to have an “inspirational” moment with the audience - by telling us what a bunch of provincial rubes we Americans were. They had obviously rehearsed this as their style was smooth and smarmy enough that many in the audience didn’t realize the offense.
Then they launched into politics. It was 2012 and our national election was looming. I live in a predominantly center-right town and when these two klowns started promoting Ødumbo and disparaging Romney the words were out of my mouth before I even realized what I said...
“Shut up and sing!”
The reaction was mixed - some audience members glared, some applauded. Many urged the duo to get on with it. One of the two took great umbrage at my taunt and acted like he was too offended to possibly continue. My promoter buddy walked out on stage and quietly reminded them that if they didn’t play they wouldn’t get paid and their hotel room would be cancelled.
They played, all while nursing their butthurt.
Later I apologized to my mom for embarrassing her. She scoffed at that, saying that she wished it had been her scolding them.

Yeah,,his wife wasn’t there. He was entering with another woman. Could have been a supporter whose husband gave up his ticket, etc..
