“Krugman promised a 40 year majority back in 2008 after hussein won.”
It was a reasonable predication then. The Dems OWNED Congress and the White House by huge margins.
What Krugman didn’t expect was that they would squander it all on Obamacare, rather than stuff to lock-in that majority - first being Amnesty, then Puerto Rico and DC Statehood, then start on laws to criminalize dissent and get guns out of the hands of gun owners (all Hillary’s plans for 2016, by the way).
I don’t defend Krugman often here (in fact never), but he was TOTALLY RIGHT and it’s not his fault that Obama/Pelosi totally blew their one chance. So far, from what I can tell, Trump is not going to make mistakes at that level.
Krugman promised a 40 year majorityKrugman in the New York times:
November 4, 2008 11:28 pm A magnificent victory for Barack Obama. And bear in mind that the campaign, in its final stages, was really about different philosophies of governing. This wasnt like the 2004 campaign, which was essentially fought over fake issues Bush running on national security and social issues, then claiming that he had a mandate to privatize Social Security. In this election, Obama proudly stood up for progressive values and the superiority of progressive policies; John McCain, in return, denounced him as a socialist, a redistributor. And the American people rendered their verdict. Now the work begins.
Now we get to celebrate as the "work" runs into a brick wall named Trump.
Even a low level manager knows there is no such thing as private electronic communications. Anything you put out on email or social media has potential to be seen by the whole world. How could a CEO like him know anything like that?
It's not like he worked in cyber security or anything like that...Oh that's his job huh?
Backlash should never be seen in hindsight. These people would've been some of the first to be thrown off of buildings if Hillary/Huma Obama/Jarrett were able to finish their mission to turn the USA into an Islamic State Caliphate
