In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bannon said if Trumps White House delivers, well get 60 percent of the white vote, and 40% of the black and Hispanic vote and well govern for 50 years.
Democrats, he claimed, had lost sight of what the world is about the issue now is Americans looking to not get fed over.
Bannon rose to immense political power by orchestrating Trumps stunning White House victory, an accomplishment he suggested Friday puts him in the company of ex-vice president Dick Cheney, Darth Vader and even the devil himself.

Thank you Liz for this...the RATS have gone down...and will stay down for quite a while...I don’t see them coming up with anything that will change the way the American Voters way of thinking...
American Voters are for the good of America and Americans;
The RATS are for all filling their party and themselves and to hell with us and our Nation!!!
Take the shackles off oil and fracking and watch thousands get jobs..Instantly...
If that is what you got from my post, you missed the point.
Bingo!
+1
I think his point is merely that by simply doing all the things Americans really want their government doing, and not enriching himself and his friends instead, it will be easy to remain in power. You’re right though. Awfully early for a prediction like that.
I hear they found a little oil in west Texas recently. But, remember, the saudis have warned Trump not to cut imports. Ohhhhhhhh! Skerred yet Pres. Trump? LOL! Commence fracking asap.
What’s up with intentionally misspelling his name? I find THAT unseemly.
I like it when our side speaks boldly - it sets up expectations in an environment where we all have expectations and those we have those expectations in, are expectant to fulfill our expectations.Cheer up:
and pony up - you'll find you feel better.
“Krugman promised a 40 year majority back in 2008 after hussein won.”
It was a reasonable predication then. The Dems OWNED Congress and the White House by huge margins.
What Krugman didn’t expect was that they would squander it all on Obamacare, rather than stuff to lock-in that majority - first being Amnesty, then Puerto Rico and DC Statehood, then start on laws to criminalize dissent and get guns out of the hands of gun owners (all Hillary’s plans for 2016, by the way).
I don’t defend Krugman often here (in fact never), but he was TOTALLY RIGHT and it’s not his fault that Obama/Pelosi totally blew their one chance. So far, from what I can tell, Trump is not going to make mistakes at that level.
I didn’ t intentionally misspell his name. I’ m working on an iPad and I am typing with one finger.
Don’t make enemies when you don’ t have to. Some advice that Bannon should follow as well.
I hope he’s right, although I won’t be around to see it. First thing to do is get a handle on the immigrants in Year One. If they aren’t dealt with immediately, they’ll be voting Democrat and the 2018 and 2020 elections will be theirs.
There is a time and a place for alpha male antics.
My favored approach is an iron fist in a velvet glove. But that’s probably because I appreciate subtlety.
I don’t totally understand that. Given current low energy prices it seems like unleashing a whole new supply would drive the price to low they’d have to give it away.
Sorry, it looked like one of those ‘disrespect-by-misspelling’ things people do sometimes. I take it back.
Hmm, I wonder who was suggesting to Bannon repeatedly in the last weeks of the campaign, go to the inner cities, go to Detroit and Philly?
Silly me. I thought winning the election WAS “crossing the goal line”-—to all except those who continue to move the goal posts.
Agree - Trump and Co. better keep their eyes on the long game of dismantling the liberal inversion of voting laws, culture, the judicial system, K-12 education, etc.
Don’t underestimate Black Americans, excluding the gang culture in many Cities, most Blacks are still Church going people, perhaps more so than any other ethnic group. Trump got 13% of the Black male vote, not so well with Black women, who bought into Clinton’s war on women nonsense. The Dems are already freaking out that Trump got 13% of the black male vote. If Trump can deliver on the economy and border security, which at the margins, impacts both working class whites and blacks, and stops this neo-liberal and neo-con foreign policy nonsense of regime change, which puts many working class and middle class whites and blacks, most of which hail from Red states in harms way in useless wars, I think Trump can make inroads in the black community that we have not seen since Ike was president.
