The virtual wall doesn't work. There needs to be a big scary thing there that makes people throw up their hands, give up, and try to get in legally at a port of entry.

Otherwise we'll continue to have hundreds or thousands of dear people dying in the desert every year, not to mention the funding of the coyote industry and the routine rapes of women and girl migrants.

No kidding. Having all the sensors in the world doesn’t help much if the the people manning them get orders to ignore what they see, or shut them off.

I’ve always been VERY SUSPICIOUS of that concept, and I am still that way. We need to show them a BARRIER that they will have to deal with.
