Webb wrote a book about the warrior spirit of the Scots and Irish who immigrated to America in the early years of our republic. I haven't read it, but sounds like a worthy (and non-PC) theme.

He served as Navy Secretary years ago under a Democrat (Clinton?), would be good to look at that record with respect to "don't ask don't tell."

Vitally important to know would be his position on Obama's "transgendering" our armed forces. If Webb turns out to be a "social liberal" and willing to keep that in place, fuhgeddaboutit.

Thanks, his book does sound interesting.

He certainly is a wild card. I would really like to know if there was some bad blood between the Webb and the Bushes, and if I were Trump, I would question him extensively on this topic.
