Vice President-elect Mike Pence went to see a performance of the musical, "Hamilton" Friday night and was promptly booed by the crowd after entering the theatre in New York, according to multiple reports on social media.
The musical, written by actor, writer, and lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, gets people thinking about race, history, and theater in ways they are probably not used to. It also educates audiences about an important a piece of American history through rap and hip-hop.

It wouldn't be my cup of tea - reviews claimed it was pretty decent. There's lots that I consider to be crap that many may think is just fine. I wasn't so much disagreeing with your assessment as I was disagreeing with what appeared to be a snap judgement based on emotion rather than knowledge.

Pense I guess heard Hamilton was supposed to be historical, but knowing Broadway, they would do a musical about The Garden and Eve, with Adam being Gay, Eve being a lesbian and the snake a transsexual male child who thinks he is a snake. And yes, God is a unsure of his sexuality. In other words, another piece of crap play.
Growing up, I had a few child leads in shows. Hartford Stage and Goodspeed are nice places. Even back then, it was different than normal.
