full title..................Don't lock her up: Trump confidante Laura Ingraham says people 'want to turn the page' and says the public doesn't want to spend 'months and months and months' on the Clinton Foundation and Hillary's emails.................................While chants of 'Lock Her Up' reverberated through the ballroom at Donald Trump's election night party in New York City, the president-elect's confidante Laura Ingraham suggested the new administration avoid investigating Hillary Clinton.

'I think there are a lot of people who just want to turn the page and move past this very rancorous time in American politics,' Ingraham said this morning on the 'Today' show.

Ingraham is reportedly on the short list for press secretary, so she made it clear to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that she was 'not speaking for the administration' when she said that she didn't think 'most Americans want to spend months and months and month going through what the Clintons did or didn't do at the foundation or with the private server.'

Wrong.

Authority is delegated to each officer to pursue each agenda item. Too many items on the plate? Get more personnel to handle the load. Too many people and not enough for them to do? Release them from employment.

I’ve been in FedGov contracting for +25 years and this is how it’s done. Modify the contract to the specific needs at the time or projected.

Here’s an idea! How about we let the law do its job and find out what it is we’re pardoning her of before we decide to pardon her? No announcements from the FBI. No making public subpeonas. No plea deals to Huma or Anthony Wiener. Just do the job. And if we bust another Denny Hastert or prevent a President Michelle, great!

“Trump should not get personally involved in this, or make a big show of it. Just put the Justice Department and the courts on it, and let them handle it. With Trump appointees.”

100% correct. Plus, Obama does have the option of pardoning HRC before he leaves the White House.

Justice is blind. Apply the law.

And while they’re at it, perhaps our new AG can track down the $6 billion that mysteriously went missing from the State Department on Hillary’s watch.

I’d settle for a conviction, a $10,000,000 fine and 15 yrs supervised probation. No need to send her to a federal prison.

Wrong, Laura. We’re subject to rule of law, or not.

It’s a slap in the face of every American who follows the law and expects the government to do the same. It’s not okay government officials break the law.

It’s embarrassing to investigate the former Secretary of State, but it’s a lot more embarrassing to be a banana republic. Let the chips fall where they may.

I strongly disagree with Ingraham. Clinton is the absolute worst example of how a federal employee or official of any kind, should behave. She exploited her office for her own personal financial gain, and by so doing, exposed the nation’s secrets to advisory nations, and other bad actors. She must be made to pay for these crimes to be a deterrent to others who might want to do the exact same thing.

Locking her up should be one of the goals of the Trump administration.

Too big to fail doesn’t work for this. It just encourages more of it as with any other crime that is ignored.

Ditto here. For the good of the country the Clintons and their cronies need to be excised from our polity. Their crimes need to see the light of day and people need to see justice prevail.

We still MUST know what happened. Matter of national security, knowing what was breached and how to prevent it happening again.

Laura is dreaming and making up tales...

Is she also going to be a ‘fairy tale’ story maker?

The Government, if they don’t pursue Hillary’s crimes, they then must shut that Foundation down, donate every penny to charity of the people choice...and never be permitted to have another one...

end of story...

Not speaking for the public either.

Laura Ingraham goes weird every once in awhile.

Laura may want to MOVE ON, but she needs to explain how Hillary gets off, and the little guy doesn’t, just because Hillary had the misplaced audacity to run for prez, and LOST.

THAT is no form of punishment, Laura. It’s a slap to LADY JUSTICE and Laura knows it.

Laura wants JUSTICE to be blind, or not?
Laura wants to say you don’t punish your “political enemies”.
Laura is saying RICO and defrauding the state against the people, under the cover of being one man’s “political enemy” is okay, because she was his opponent?

This is disgusting.

No excuse, Laura.
