General Michael Flynn defended Trump from the constant liberal media attacks. In September General Flynn said with Trump we will actually win the war with radical Islam and ISIS.

Winning!
>> Perhaps Flynn can have an impact <<
“Perhaps” is a very big word, one that you can probably drive a truck thru.
Anyway, there are reports that Trump exploded with anger when somebody finally told him about Manafort’s ties to pro-Putin Ukrainian gangster-type politicians. That’s when Manafort got a quick boot. I wonder if anybody has bothered to explain to Trump that Gen. Flynn has some similar skeletons in his closet?
Yes, I think he operates on comic book level.
Another great choice!
I’m beginning to get the impression that you do not like Flynn.
I don’t like that he’s on the payroll, or has been on the payroll, of Erdogan and Putin. I would probably like him fine as a human being. I’d also think he was putting America first and making America Great Again if he were not an apologist for foreign tyrants. Yes, being a quisling is profitable, but it’s not what one should expect from a retired American Lieutenant General.

How did Putin enter the picture? I thought Erdogan was the issue.
In any case, I don’t see helping the extradition of an alleged coup Turkish leader to be betrayal of the USA.

Last year, Flynn was paid to sit next to Russian President Vladimir Putin at a dinner in Moscow for the state-run news outlet RT. Flynn later said he used the trip to urge Putin to rein in his aggressive foreign policy.
I don't understand what Flynn did wrong there. It gave the appearance of some conservative support against Obama policy in both Syrian and the Ukraine.
I must admit that I do not support al Qaeda in Syria, nor do I support Islamic radicalism or even Islamic influence in Russia/Ukraine, anyplace.
I don’t know anyone who supports al Qaeda. I get the impression, though, that Flynn supports Putin and Erdogan, or at least he has supported them. His company has supported them.
I still don’t see support for Putin anyplace, but I do think Putin was more coorect regarding Syria than was Obama who wanted to overthrow another mideast strongman in favor of islamic radicals.

Excellent.
Al qaeda violatez genevz accords and conducts military ops from hospitals. That’s long been known.
I guess that’s a good reason to destroy hospitals then.
In war, it is according to signatories, a violation of Geneva/Hague.
I removes the hospitals’ immunity.
I hope he taps general Mattis for sec of defense
I preferred Keane, but I will not argue with him over Mattis. I wouldn’t argue over Petraeus, either, despite Petraeus’ problems with a girl friend, but that makes me lean toward Mattis.
I think this is a time in which we need a military mind to restore the military.
Putin is doing to Aleppo what he did to Grozny. You can come up with excuses for him by blaming the victims in the hospital of being al Qaeda if you wish. But when the town is leveled, and the terrorist are gone somewhere else, Putin’s apologists will not even be able to say the ends justified the means.
