Cruz does not have temperament to bo on SCOTUS. That calls for someone who is likeable and persuasive. Ted had no friends in the Senate and would have none of the court.
Never Cruz; he would want to hand out Teddy bears to all the defendants and would not enforce immigration laws. NEVER CRUZ.
I don’t recall a politician nominated to the court in my time. I think it would be enormously risky and for what? To get him out of the way? Why would anyone want him as AG? He might decide to start investigating President Trump.
