I had a cornea transplant on my right eye . . . it was a partial so it doesn’t take so long to heal. Still using the drops 1 X 2 days a week. It was almost a thrill as when I first opened my eyes after cataract surgery . . . wow!

I had cataract surgery on my right eye. I told my doctors I was not going to have anything done to my left eye until the right one is fixed so I can see out of it. I also have keratoconus in that eye. That is what the cornea transplant I'd for. I have had wonderful doctors. The one who did the muscle repair surgeries is one of the best in the country. I went in for a checkup and she was training a dr from Argentina. She was left in the room with me and we talked up a storm. Strangers are just friends I have not met.
