I'd have to believe that you truly are stupid enough to think that threatening people's lives to make them vote for your candidate is protected free speech under the Constitution.

Where did this come from? The article says nothing about threatened lives. In fact, the electors quoted in the article said the comments weren't even intimidating at all.

Interesting take on the article. Let's have a look:

Locke said, “It is concerning to me. It does feel like some level of intimidation.

Well, there goes your theory about the electors not being intimidated. Now let's take a look at this:

They’ve got our home phone numbers, our cell numbers, our emails, our Facebook. We’re just getting an orchestrated barrage from the left.”

“They attack my religion, they attack my politics, they tell me that I must be a terrible father, I must be a terrible American, they use foul language – every swear word,” he said. “They’re just trying to steal this thing. They won’t be able to do it, but they’re trying.”

So, we have electors in Idaho who have been doxxed, now every left-wing nutbag in the world knows all their contact information and they are inundating them with profane insults and accusations. Are you, at all, familiar with the concept of an implied threat? Doxxing, by itself, is a form of intimidation. That is what it is used for, every time.

How does this sound to you, especially if it were left on your home number: "Hey! You better vote for Hillary, you piece of sh*t!"

But all of this is academic. I am a lifelong Californian. I know how these a-holes work. If there aren't any threats yet, there will be soon enough. The ones who posted the electors' personal info should be prosecuted.
