I remember sitting in the cineplex for the third Lord of the Rings film when the Eagles flew in to save the battle, and everyone cheered. It was clear the Eagles were the metaphor for the US Air Force come to save the day. May more good movies with a pro-military message be made.

I’m trying to think of some spectacular way to celebrate the day he leaves. Unfortunately I’ll be out of town that day and so options are limited. We are also in a drought so huge bonfires are out of the question.

You may be right but I thought a presidential pardon covered all sins, state or federal. It will be interesting to see who O pardons just the same
