To: Secret Agent Man
Unless they change course to the country they once were, i am not hyped up to have closer ties with them.

Given our national glass house the past eight years, it should not be surprising if the Brits are feeling a bit of the same.

That being said, our new sheriff and their recent Brexit augurs a sea change.

Brexit was non binding and the powers that be are working to make sure it never happens. That vote has no weight of law, parliament has to vote to leave. I said it right then it wasnt over because of this fact.

If they can ensure a proper reflected vote, that wil be great. Hope they do. But that country has a lot of hardcore euro socialist policies integrated into peoples thinking there that they have to overcome if they want to be great again.

Whats the point about being closer to a country we are also trying to move away from from a soxialist pc perspective, if they really don’t? Doesnt help us.
