Trump must reject this out-of-hand. Give them an early scalp and they will just repeat with the next person until there is nobody left.

The worst thing Trump can do to them is to just completely ignore them as being completely irrelevant.
Trump can communicate with the country via tweet, FB, and other social media. The dinosaur enemedia can then report on such direct communications after the fact if they so choose, but it will no longer be “news”, AND the enemedia will no longer control the narrative.
