Drivers can reasonably and accurately believe that if stopped, they will be pulled from their vehicles and robbed, assaulted, raped, or worse.
Lawless mobs do not swarm highways to graciously serve hot tea and scones to passing motorists.

If I see a mob approaching my car, *their* safety is not going to be my first concern.

Was gonna say......ifimona highway or road or anywhere and see a mob coming toward me I’m not stopping either. I’d probably floor it to get there to get the heck out of there.
