“Will” sign into law??? Or the NRA wants them to? Seems the headline is BS.

You know, in a sick demented way, electing Trump has been bad for the gun industry. Their stocks have gone down and I’m guessing we won’t have the record sales that top gun salesman Obama was able to generate.
Oh well, they’re patriots and won’t mind!!!
To: mad_as_he$$
I’m hoping the prices will go way down also.

I guess it'll just be up to us to keep the industry afloat in the coming lean times.

Trump will get more good things for America done in his first 100 days than politicians have for the last 100 years which is really nothing , mostly amnesties, more government , bad trade deals , more loss of freedom , more spending, more regulations , more debt, more 3rd world immigrants, more taxes etc. . Thats true with only a few minor exceptions with Reagan and Ike (Eisenhower). But Reagan was fooled into signing an amnesty and never did anything against Japans unfair trade practices which Trump was warning about even then in the 1980s.
In fact it seems Trump has already got more done in 6 days after getting elected with no power yet.Imagine 8 years of Trump

The only thing about "national CCW reciprocity" is it still doesn't help the pro-2A patriots who live in restrictive places like CA, IL, NJ, NY, CT, MA, DC, and similar. Those states need to be brought into contemporary times.

No one here voiced anything about the Ayotte mess in New Hampshire that the article briefly mentions. I love it that the stupid wench is going down...she is a democrat anyway. I am going to call all of her offices and laugh out loud at her demise. Just because she has an R next to her name doesn’t mean a blessed thing. The voters in New hampshire realize this and see no difference between the two. Screw Ayotte go to a job you lined up for yourself (I’m sure) you disgusting wench.

Just pay the tax ... and submit an application ... and wait several months for Big Daddy Gummint to give you permission ...
"... shall not be infringed."
To: Dusty Road
"There should be no tax."I was reading in Germany if you go to the range without a silencer it is considered rather rude to do so, this tax/asking permission should be removed IMHO..

Ending Gun-Free Zones on Military Bases. Hmmm, the vast majority of buildings on military bases I frequent are posted as federal property, with a notice that firearms are prohibited, which would not change if Gun-Free Zones were eliminated-- if the purpose of this is to have armed personnel around during a terrorist or active shooter scenario, it won't be enough.
Since the soldiers' place of duty is often either in, or involves frequently entering these federal buildings, and DoD civilians place of duty is almost exclusively in said buildings, this would look good on paper but you would find yourself in a situation where no one could carry in the workplace where an active shooter scenario might occur. If Trump passes such a law it would be great, but make sure to lift these restrictions so that only exceptional locations (federal courthouse) are exempt to carry.
The other problem, for bases in NJ, MD, DC, etc. is saying you can carry on base is one thing, but if you cannot legally carry in the state in which the base is located it buys you nothing. So if I have a PA carry permit, but have to travel to Fort Meade, Fort Detrick, or APG I'm still screwed. Having this PLUS national Constitutional Carry would solve this problem.

Yes...I had mentioned NJ in my original post# 10 above.
We should ideally migrate to a format where the U.S. Constitution is recognized as the national CCW document.
