2 of mine are C&R. They both have a hammer and sickle on them. Eventually I’d like to get a nagant revolver and a makarov to round out the set. My Mosin was made in 1943 so it is virtually guaranteed to have removed some nazis from the motherland. I like historical guns.

Geez I hate to upstage you some more. I bought three Nagant revolvers in 2004 when they were $85 a pop. Same year I scored a Mosin Nagant sniper with all the correct numbers including the PU scope. Cost was half the mockup they used in “Enemy at the Gates”.
My Makarov I bought in 1989, the Chicom version. Rule of thumb with Chicom stuff: the first year of issue is the best quality. It’s far better than Soviet.
Now...go to gunbroker.com and find you a nice Polish P-64 pistol in 9mm Mak for $250. I promise you will not be disappointed. Each one is marked with the year made & the quality rivals Walthers. I’ve fired mine & it’s a handful, not only recoils but twists in the hand as it catches the rifling.
The Serbian version of the TT-30 is also a good choice in commie chic especially the short bbl 9mm version. Check out the Yugo SKS too, best quality of all the SKS series.
Commie stuff are the weapons of the masses. Not how the commies themselves wanted it, but hey, enjoy & things are only going to improve under our new President.
