Priebus vicariously, without naming names, did give the back of his hand to the BS of Ryan and the NeverTrump faction.
I thought he was rather brave to split with that treacherous crew. I know it took him time. He did not know how things would fall out, but by golly, he took the leap in some of those quiet and rather clandestine meetings in DC, with the moaners and whiners.

You are so right.
Next big problem?
Getting certain state parties in line.
Nevada
Colorado
Ohio
for starters.
What a state of tatters they are in.
I believe California Lefty whites are moving into Colorado and Ohio. Especially in academics. The birthing place for Marx.
Hollywood is taking over Santa Fe, as well. It is a nasty drift eastward of these Lefties and they put their influence on everything godless.
Colorado is a done deal. I personally heard Colorado GOP chairman Steve House say at a small public meeting in my little berg that as the Trump vote went, so would the rest of the GOP ticket in Colorado. The Colorado GOP did finally board the Trump Train as it went flying by, though they barely managed to grab the caboose at the last moment, and their late conversion is probably what cost that flip-floper, Darryl Glenn, the Senate election.
Nonetheless, the Colorado GOP got the message LOUD AND CLEAR when tens of thousands of us slammed the crap out of them on social media for being disloyal and out-of-touch with their voters.
I don’t think there will ANY more trouble out of the GOP in Colorado. I would imagine that the selfish, rotten, disloyal Cruz troublemakers like Kendal Unruh have already been permanently purged.
Unlike Nevada and Colorado, Ohio voted for Trump. However, the Party was of limited help. So, time to go run for precinct committeeman.
