Stephen Bannon, who helped Trump overcome the odds and claim a resounding victory, has reached out to the French Far right family’s youngest member.
He told French media he believed "France is the place to be, with its young entrepreneurs, women of the family Le Pen” adding that “Marion Maréchal-Le Pen is the new rising star”.
Marion has since expressed her support for the political campaigner and agreed to work with him in the future.

I thought the term they were using this cycle was “alt right”.
And the riots in the streets around the US are being sponsored by Communists groups (ANSWER, CPUSA, etc.) who are identifying their handiwork but as with the so-called anti-war protests, their self-identified involvement is not mentioned in the press and thus they are not “far left” extremists.
In the old days we called the MSM the “one winged extreme bird”.
It had an extreme right wing but no extreme left wing!

Marine Le Pen he has no real equal in the US. I’d say she’s closer to Sarah Palin if you’re trying to draw a US parallel. But even that is a coarse approximation.
It doesn’t matter to the Left. You can’t possibly be “the first” or other exampler of your identity if it isn’t done under the rubric of the Left.
American conservatives are so disgustingly naive about the "far right" elsewhere. They assume every National Front and every Golden Dawn and every Jobbik and every Freedom Party is Barry Goldwater speaking at a Baptist brush arbor.
