How about we just have states split their votes based on congressional districts or maybe counties?

Dems can have their precious cities “count” without dragging the rest of the red state with them.

Me & NE with 2 or 3 districts might be easier to draw lines for than states with 10, 20 30 cDS. States would redistrict with winning EVs in mind.

Any state that wants to do so is free to change its method of choosing electors any time it decides to. The selection of electors is left entirely in the hands of the states.

I don’t know about other states, but I don’t want to give Austin even one delegate of the 38 from Texas. Most of the inner city is unhinged and it is a tiny blue thumbprint surrounded by a sea of red.
