I am not disputing the factual reporting. The issue is why is this a story worth reporting in such detail. It is routine that President-elects receive detailed security briefings like he will receive when he is sworn in. It is a non-story, but in the case of Trump, it seems to take on added significance.

Would we see a similar report if Hillary had won the election? I think not. After all, she is the most qualified person ever to run for President.

Point taken. You are correct about the undue attention to the story. But it was not unexpected. And I don’t think it will last.
