This was posted before and I spent about two hours checking this guy’s videos out. It’s satire, but he’s brilliant. How many people have you seen who can go off on a rant like this and spew out facts and statistics 90mph the way this guy does? And it sounds like it’s all right off the top of his head, he can’t be reading all this off a teleprompter, and I’ve never seen one in any of his videos.
I don’t care what his politics are, most of what he said in this particular rant is verifiable fact, and he nailed just why Trump won. especially pay attention to what he says starting around 3:50. That’s when he gets into the biggest problem with Democrats, refusing to engage in any intelligent and meaningful discussion, opting instead to shut the conversation down by way of insults, name calling and ridicule. Exactly what I’ve been trying to get across to a small group of liberals on a musician forum where they do exactly that.
Nope, they won’t listen, they don’t want to hear ‘YOU’RE WRONG”...not even if you back it up with facts, in an intelligent manner without any of the name calling they depend on. We’re supposed to shut up and let them speak. Just like one particular moron I see on Fox who always demands conservatives shut up and let him finish, but he never stops interrupting them, never lets them finish a sentence. Wish I could remember his name but I can’t, he’s that memorable...black guy with glasses.
I’ve seen several others too, and that’s the one thing I can grudgingly say about Juan Williams, he does occasionally shut the hell up and let someone else finish a comment. Still a total idiot, but at least he will occasionally let you finish a comment...
The profanity doesn’t bother me, I lived with sailors for a couple of years. I can live without it, but it doesn’t make me shut him off or ignore his opinion. Funny guy. What puzzles me is that he seems to be coming from the left, which I suppose could be an act, and still sees the problems in politics clear as a bell. And all this seems to be unscripted...brilliant...
