Transition team needed to get bigger now that they KNOW there will BE a transition!
And I think it’s GREAT that Trump will take advantage of his VP, since he picked such a competent one. Would be ridiculous to try to turn Pence into a wallflower, and I can guarantee you that Trump had no VP-level staffers in his business that were purely ornamental.
So, putting your VP to work in a meaningful manner is yet ANOTHER break with “tradition” from Trump. We will be seeing many more “traditions” tossed into the trash bin of history.
Wow, I’m amazed at how many people seem to have forgotten what a traitor Christie has been.
He deserves NOTHING.
Christie replaced by Pence? You got a problem with that?
YEAH!! ANd Christie’s “confidantes” are a BIG FAT WARNING sign to Trump!!
RINO Christy-
You’re fired!
Thank GOD! Now get rid of Christie and don’t look back. This illegal and Muslim lover can only cause dissent in the ranks.
Trump has been very smart with his people. If there is any sign of corruption or distraction caused by any of his top people, they are FIRED or DEMOTED. It may be hard and tough, but we have a golden opportunity here; we can’t give the other side any ammo. Loyalty can only go so far; if an aide has a self-inflicted wound, he/she is gone.
He got rid of (or demoted) two senior campaign advisers and now Christie. I’m mixed on Christie; seems like a bit of a thug and may be too RINO to run Transition. Respect his speaking ability; but not worth the cost to have him manage transition.
Pence is the adult in the room. Fresh breath of air after the rookies and partisan hacks over the last 8 years.
All Star Team!
Great move. I don’t think Christie has very good judgment in hiring people. Look at his Bridge Scandal buddies!
Why should Christie even be there at all? He didn’t deliver New Jersey.
Christie was directing the operations of the transition team pre-election. Election Day is Tuesday. It would have been very presumptuous and premature to have VP-elect Pence in that role PRIOR to the ceremonial and customary meet and greet between Jug Ears and President-elect Trump which occurred on Wednesday. I don’t see it as a demotion at all, but rather a deference to the #2 on the ticket.
