The “oh, it’s all our own personal beliefs” is a betrayal of faith rather than an exercise of faith. It leaves us unable to say anything of God to anybody lest it violate “their own personal beliefs.”
Faith doesn’t begin at “a bunch of doctrines” but on a Savior, Lord, Teacher, God.
