I’m all for building the wall but the best short term solution to illegals is to deport criminal and undesirable aliens - legal and illegal, have serious background checks for employment, enforce identity theft and the biggest one of all - eliminate welfare payments to illegal aliens, including welfare support for anchor babies.
Deportation of illegal and undesirable aliens and removing illegal aliens from the welfare rolls are the two best first steps to dealing with illegal immigration.
There is no political downside to mobilizing large scale deportations starting with the 2-6 million criminal illegal aliens living in the US.
Many illegal aliens come to the US to get free welfare payments most illegals in the US are getting some form of welfare payments.
Cutting off free handouts tillage’s will cut the number of people trying to enter the country illegally and cause many freeloaders to leave on their own.

I could see Trump holding a daily press conference to call out anyone stonewalling or trying to throw a wrench in the works.
Quicker than the initial Obamacare websites and I'm sure a lot cheaper.
And if Congress gets in the way of Trump building the wall, well, Trump has a phone and a pen . . . . .
and we need to get the internet back asap.

Repeal the “1965 Immigration Law” fast. Cut LEGAL immigration to under 250,000 per year. Enough of one million people coming here a year & voting 80% democratic.
