They have tried to kiss up to Trump starting yesterday of course. bammy knows that nothing in his legacy has legs and that most of it has little foundation most of it being policy, regulation or executive order. He had figured on shillary being elected and protecting and expanding that legacy. He knows that Trump can erase a huge chunk of it in ONE DAY! He tried to roll Trump to preserve some of it and as you say, Trump told him to piss off.
