I don’t know about you guys, but I’ll find myself at various times of the day just giggling like a schoolgirl. Don’t think my feet have touched the ground since Tuesday night.
I know what you mean.. I am telling folks that this smile may be stuck on my face for several years...
I feel the same way MW! I was praying periodically on Tues and did the same yesterday, too. I’m grinning, getting misty when watching or reading stories, etc. I am so HAPPY for our new President and Vice President to be and our country.

Me too! And I have this obsession with the color red and keep humming patriotic songs!
You and me both!
I’m going around saying Merry Christmas
We'd be fearing massive immigration , open borders, unfettered invasion, socialism, socialist healthcare for all these immigrants. I could go on but you all get the message . What a bullet we dodged. Trump risked it all and worked so hard taking all the media slander etc. and now i have hope again for me and America all thanks to Trump. many naysayers haven't read his book etc.
But they should see what Trump just did , 1 man against basically the whole world and he won, now a website is up already . Trump is the best ever. people don't know how lucky we are to have Trump as president. How long did it take obama to get his stupid web site up and it didn't work and cost 5 billion etc. .
I’ve been doing it at my desk for almost 48 hours!
Almost started whistling.
Greatest election ever!
I’m very happy of course, but not that surprised.
The most surprising thing for me about Trump winning was how surprised everyone was! Anyone else feel that way?
Now, I’ll admit that around 9:00 I started to have such a sinking feeling because the MSM reporting was so down on Trump’s chances...they really had me believing he was going to lose for a while (luckily I had some people like LS here on FR to get a more positive view).
But what I’m talking about is leading up to the election - I ALWAYS assumed he was going to win even before the primaries... In fact, I was expecting a 1980’s type R landslide the whole time. If for no other reason, I just could never see how anyone could vote for Hillary Clinton.
I’m not saying I’m disappointed by 306, and being from PA, flipping PA, MI and WI was epic. But I was shocked FL was close and I thought we’d get VA and even NV and CO - I was even hoping for Illinois. I really thought we’d win the popular.
So for me it’s weird realizing how sure they were of dem victory - I had no idea (since I was mostly on FR) that they were so sure! I thought they were realizing what a terrible candidate she was - on the verge of being indicted or stroking out or going into rehab or whatever.
But now, looking at these video montages of the talking heads saying she’s winning in a landslide and Trump can’t possibly win - I’m realizing this was a big upset in their eyes.
I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you. (Not that he won - I’m shocked that they are shocked).
