In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a woman stood in between a row of satellite trucks and a concrete wall outside the Javits Center in New York City—the Hillary Clinton’s “victory party”—sobbing and screaming into her cellphone, “How are we losing?!”
The answer on the other end was received by a wail.
And later that morning, the world learned that despite all the polling, all the momentum, and a second-to-none campaign operation, Hillary Clinton lost to a flaxen-haired maybe-billionaire best known for starring in an NBC reality-television show.
The Clinton campaign had hoped that the glass ceiling of the Javits Center would become the night’s enduring symbol. But instead, its basement cafeteria became a microcosm of the Clinton campaign.
Late into the night, grim Clinton supporters huddled around televisions on folding chairs, watching with blank faces as cable news commentators delivered blow after blow. And when Kelly Clarkson’s “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger” anthem played over the speakers, it sounded more like a taunt than a battlecry. Many supporters didn’t want to talk. Instead, they hunched over their iPhones and beers.
Lani Brandon, an environmental attorney from Attica, New York, drank Barefoot cabernet sauvignon from a tiny plastic bottle as the results rolled in. She volunteered on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, and recalled her response to that loss with admiration.
“Even when she was conceding, she did it with class and elegance,” Brandon said. “This election alone, with him running, it has created—or maybe made people aware of—the hatred that already existed.”
Many were visibly misty-eyed.
“You’ve gotta make it quick,” said New Yorker Frank Capalbo when approached, “because I’m about to break out in tears.”
He loved Clinton for her brain, her guts, and her effectiveness, he said.

It seems impossible that Clinton, after being cleared of wrongdoing, would be jailed.
They were trying to be cute and it failed.
I hope for the nation’s sake Trump in fact follows through and has an independent prosecutor look into all this.
And she didn’t call Bill.
Wonder what his plans are for next week?
These “protest” do not occur in a vacuum, someone is organizing them. This is a job for the FBI. I wonder if they have been ordered NOT to investigate.

I’d like to thank Hillary Clinton for the “Basket of deplorables” statement. It mobilized thousands.
Add to that the biased media and between them they helped the get out the vote effort - for Trump! LOL
She thinks of them as “Bernie’s residue” and they can rot in Hell.
“She has no political power left, and never will again.”
The Clintons’ massive income of the last eight years came from selling influence they had and, especially, influence evil people thought they would have once the Witch became President. Now they’ve lost it. Where’s their income going to come from?
While I’m savoring the tears of defeated socialists, I’d like to remind everyone to LOCK HER UP. There must not be two systems of justice in this country. Equal justice under the law must be maintained, or this country will have lost everything.

I’m excited about the fact that their bench is empty. Who will they dump on us in 4 years. Imagine Caine the creep trying to run again. I think Caine represents what is left of the Dem bench. Other than Caine it gets really weird like Van Jones.
It actually DID this for me, but probably not in the way she intended.
For me, this election showed me the hatred that already existed in the dominant Left-wing press.
It showed me the shear disdain and hatred the Left has for the working class who aren't minorities the Left depends on to deliver them political power.
It made me aware that despite all the crimes Hillary Clinton and staff made, that we know other less elite people are charged with and punished for on almost a daily basis, meant nothing to those on the Left who craved power over others.
And here is the quote from an environmentalist lawyer from Albany, New York, who has probably never had to work with her hands, or fret that she might not have the funds to pay the rent, or feed her family, or that drove through those rural parts of poverty stricken New York state, except to be pissed off that it wasn't all pristine wilderness un-spoiled by the deplorable yeoman farmers and town trades people that environmentalists so readily hate.
Her problems as a candidate began with the choice of campaign slogans.
“I’m with Her” means “It’s all about Me.”
Make America Great Again” means “It’s all about you.”
No, just that their pieces of paper qualify them for those jobs. I am not saying they would be good at them.
Hillary has no more bargaining chips. And some not so nice people might be expecting something for their millions in ‘speaking fees’ and what not?
I hear she writes best-selling books...
You can be sure she had her pick of the wonders of modern pharmacopoiea. She's not on Obamacare.
