Actually Trump pulled Cruz to the right. There was no talk of unchecked illegal immigration costing us our sovereignty/country (from Cruz) until Trump entered the race. Trump was also to the right of Cruz when it came to Hillary/Soros thugs shutting down the First Amendment.

Congrats to the Cruz who finally fully
EXPOSED himself and his father
as supporters of Oswald, and the
globalists and supporters of child-raping Satanists
and Islamic slavers.

[I still cannot believe I once supported the
lying paid-globalist=treasonous Cruz.]

Congress can start on the agenda in the Lame Duck instead of continuing to screw the American Public.

Bath-house Barry's head would explode. Most of them will be back in the next Congress. Nothing stops them and their flunkies writing bills now so they'll be ready to introduce on Day 1 of the new Congress.

“Thanks Ted, your support made all the difference”

No. It didn’t.

Timing is everything. I bet he was told to hold it back until they thought the time was right.

I agree with Senator Cruz. This election was a rejection of the Obama-Clinton agenda. That is why I voted for Trump.

My views are pretty much the same as yours. I supported Cruz and voted for him in the primary, because he is a true social and constitutional conservative, and I did not like or trust Trump. But I voted for Trump on Tuesday, because the alternative was Hillary, and that was a sure nightmare. Now let’s see what a Trump/Pence administration, working with Republican Congress, will do.

Ted Cruz is not a conservative. He is just another Harvard Schooled lawyer carrying his Bible olBJClinton style.

The media would love it if Trump or Cruz declared open warfare on other Republicans. What a huge mistake that would be.

Trump has the power now. He can get his agenda done with soft power and does not need to openly badmouth other Republicans.

I’m anti-Cruz, but I find this to be a hopeful move and message from him.

El Rato speaks. But has blended the knee and is on notice.
Trump will call him out if goes backsliding.

The whole point of opposing the GOPe was to make them fight harder against Obama instead of agreeing with him. That’s not an issue anymore. Trump can reject anything he doesn’t like from Congress behind-the-scenes and it’s doubtful the GOPe will make a public issue out of it. They will acquiesce to the President on most issues. And Trump is a negotiator. He will give them enough of a bone so that they can claim some degree of victory to their constituents.

The Senate would love to send Cruz packing to the SCOTUS. There may be just as constitutional conservative SCOTUS candidates out there, that do not have the same ability to be a political advocate for conservatives that Cruz does.

Never forget he is a lying, duplicitous jerk. Platitudes and statements of support from him are suspect.
