They had to know she lost much earlier. Word was that her MI campaign was in “free fall,” they had more or less pulled out of NC, and the last appearances in Cleveland were desperate blood-staunching moves that clearly weren’t working.
I am glad to hear that....she suffered.
And as you know, she hadn’t set foot in WI after the convention. Even though Bernie won the primary she just took the state for granted. Historians will learn much from how the worlds smartest woman managed to lose the election that the worlds best campaign said was in the bag.
But, the first rule of Madison Avenue is, no amount of advertising can convince people to buy a bad product.
