I remember Rush mentioning on his show about a month or two ago how he would hope to see a presidential candidate win the race spending as little as possible. I don’t know what Trump’s final expenditures for this race will be, but I think it’s pretty safe to say he spent less than a billion dollars on it. He spent a large chunk in the last two weeks on advertising, and I think that was very effective.
Trump has figured out how to meld the rust belt, the South and the Mountain states into a regional power. The east-west coast elitists are shuddering over it.
