Oh we had some of their type on the boats (submarines). They rued the day they ever showed up, but that was the old days before political correctness ruled the day. In 1965 there were NONE of those types in my company. By my 3rd in 69 every 4th new guy that came in (and by 69 they were just faces, I just didn’t care about the rotation guys anymore) were negative nancy’s. I just couldn’t give a rat’s ass about them, (sorry it was just that way, I was tired and worn out). You either fight till it’s over, or you have already “checked out”.
