Spending my final years (I’m 62) in a dying country is gonna be a real test of faith.
I think the same thing myself. At least I got some years in when this country was great. But everything cycles, it is unrealistic to think things would be great forever. The good news is, America is still full of Americans (hard working, self sufficient, honest and good people) so it will come back, but our kids and grandkids will tell theirs about they tough times they lived through to provide the good times theirs are born into.
But aren’t you glad you’re not in your 30s if there’s a nasty future ahead?
