We have a wonderful President elect, so caring.
On Tues, afternoon our little community also lost a police officer.
He was responding to a call from a motel where the maid had found drugs in a room.
The perp was out but soon returned, ran behind the motel and when officers turned corner, opened fire, wounding one and killing the other.
He then fled, took a hostage, holed up in a local resort and around 2am a shoot out ensued resulting in the death of the perp.
Our community is in mourning. I can’t ever remember when we lost an officer to violence here.
