He is awesome! I once had one. It's a tough lizard to maintain in captivity, but judging from what I see in your photo, it looks like you know what your doing. My Veiled had a tragic end; I found one of his crickets outside his tank and put it back in. Unbeknownst to me, my parents had an exterminator spray our basement that day.....lizard ate the poisoned cricket and that was the end.

OMG, I am *so* sorry.

:(

That’s one of the reasons *no* toxic stuff is allowed in my house, at all.

Even my snake spray is just herbal stuff, in case mites pop up.

She [I think, no spurs that I can see] is living the life.

That photo was *before* her house makeover, with the new vines, new foliage and “Chameleon Cantina” drinking fountain.

Even her food lives well.

The crickets have a 20 G long tank, with premium cricket food, hydro-gel and paper towels/tubes and egg crates to play in.

I felt bad about live feeding, but it seems these crickets only have about 3 days on earth before they just cock up their toes anyway, I reckon it’s not *so* horrible.

I rotate them so she eats the ones who are close to their natural expiration date, and have had a chance to gobble down the vitaminized cricket chow.

She is getting comfortable enough to have snippy opinions.

When I come in the living room, she turns all blotchy-camo, in indignation.
Then, she decides she’s hungry and comes to the front of her house and just pointedly stares at me until I get her food.

Funny little odd thing.

:)
