A friend of mine went to the rally yesterday and he sent me a couple of text msg. photos. Crowd was indeed huge.

Freedom Hill is only about 5 miles away but I wouldn't have gone near that place due to the traffic.......

Are they paying you $1500 as they do the bird-doggers at rallies, or is it more since you know how to type?

In my working days as secretary when people asked me when they voted, I’d say (assuming it’s 2016), “Republicans vote on November 8 and Democrats vote on November 9.” I was in HR, and did get “spoken to”. ;)

I figured that if people were stupid enough not to either know the date, or research the date, they’d be too stupid to vote.

Y’think the crowd would’ve been more then a few hundred without Palin?

Plus, he has God on his side. I believe that. It’s an election of good v. evil.

Not only does he stay strong in spite of the schedule, my hubby and I said he actually looks better every day.

I realize the differences in our physical demands, but stress alone has to be insane in his position. I know what that can do too. As a machinist for 8 years some days I would run large parts and not do much but stand there and wait for the machine to finish a cut, but go home dead tired...a .001” mistake can scrap an $8000 part...that’s the thickness of the cellophane on a cigarette pack. (I measured it) Stress was a major consideration, and it make a really big difference. That’s why presidents have grey hair in 4 years. Loads of stress. Trump is traveling to 10 rallies in 10 states in 2 days...plus the stress of a campaign...and he’s been doing this for over a year, not this hectic but steady, and usually 2 weekends or 4 days off a month.

I’m impressed...and he has 10 years on my old bald headed ass...

I still think Trump is amazing, I know I couldn’t keep up with the guy. I get about 4 hours sleep a night too, have for years, once a month or so I’ll zombie out and get 6...even when the band plays and I come home really dragging it’s not often more than 5 hours and I’m turning on the coffee.

Ted Nugent was there to play the national anthem. He stayed on to give an impromptu, impassioned plea to vote for Trump. I’m sure he’s the talk of every union workplace in Michigan today.

Heh, funny stuff. There’s a lot of stupid out there. I left the corporate world and opened my own farm-nursery business, back when it was called “Personnel Dept”, and haven’t missed any of that, since I retired a few years ago.

Crawford but I am having serious second thoughts because I have work in the morning.

On another note Donald Trump called a few minutes ago. It was a recording of course, but incredibly sweet and beautiful.

Dear God please let us have this man for potus.

As it turns out I am going to GR in the early a.m. to pick up the #1 son. I should just go down tonight but I will have to work tomorrow when I get back and will be a long day.

My son normally does not vote as he hates politics, but he will be stuck with his Italian mother in the car for ride home with both barrels blazing. He WILL be voting by the time I’m done :) Oh, Missaukee County here.

I was at the Palin event at Freedom Hill.

This is different. This was on a Sunday evening, and right before the election. Palin's was soon after she was nominated, and before McCain quit. Trump isn't my favorite, but I'll give him some credit for two things. 1. He hates these trade deals that are killing us. That's a long simmering issue here. 2. He isn't quitting Michigan.

Chaldeans for Trump! Assyrians for Trump!

The Chaldeans and Assyrians I know are for him bigtime. Until two weeks ago, I was nevertrump. It was some of my Chaldean friends, along with another Irish Catholic friend in the GOP who convinced me to hold my nose one more time.

Sorry, Romney never had crowds like this and held fewer events.

Donald Trump is doing what he always wanted to do: be President. To fight for that dream at this moment in our history must be exhilarating, albeit tiring for anyone. He thrives on connecting with people. They respond and give the energy back. Phenomenal. Plus, he seems to be an authentic guy. What you says is what he thinks. A whole lot New Yorker. Never thought a NY Republican (politician like Giulani, Rockefeller, Koch) would appeal to Americans. Guess Trump's being not a politician, not PC, made all the difference!

Hey, thanks for the report! Glad most at the rally had seats. It’s been a long time since we have seen a politician who deeply loves America. Maybe Gerry Ford and Ronald Reagan projected that love consistently.

Yes, Ford was my fav of all because he vetoed more bills (not growing the size of government) than any modern Pres. Oh well. Let’s hope Trump gets the same chance!
