Using tax exempt funds as a personal slush fund is illegal as is having an entity pay your expenses and not providing a 1099 to you. If they do provide a 1099, which I seriously doubt in this case, not claiming those payments as income is tax evasion regardless whether they furnish a 1099 or not.
We’ve heard ad nauseum that none of the Clintons take a salary from THE foundation. It’s a blanket statement but no one ever says specifically which of the dozen or so offshoots of the FOUNDATION does NOT pay salaries to any member of the family.
I’ve gone over the tax returns that are on line and like everything else, it just gets more exasperating. Everything they do/touch is exasperating to the rest of us. If an investigation SOME DAY does find salaries paid to the family illegally, the comeback will be, “we never said THAT one didn’t pay salaries to us.” How does ANYONE’S brain work that way?
