But perhaps there is a positive effect here for Trump. All of his “blue collar” supporters probably have a dim view of a “college education,” so this kind of BS is a motivator for them to get out and vote!

I am white/blue collar depending on the activity.
The political discernment of truth is very hard to penetrate those beyond their 20’s.
People cannot accept that their belief system has been wrong their entire life, I don’t care what their level of .edu is.
