That is not beyond the realm of possibility, given that Herself may gain sympathy vote by such an action (deliberate, of course).
It would feed that narrative of the “poor, struggling woman who only wants to do right”.
Think maybe some would just point and laugh?

Oh man, was that fall a metaphor for that campaign, or what? It perfectly encapsulated Dole's run for the Presidency.
