"Johnson got less than half a percent last time in 2012. Same with Stein."

They will get more this time. This isn't 2012. Both parties are running candidates that turn off a huge portion of the electorate. There are a lot of people that can't stand either one of them. Some of them are going to vote for someone else.

The numbers will still be minuscule. These are fringe candidates. They are not a Ross Perot, George Wallace, or John Anderson. The top vote for a Libertarian is only about 1%.
