47.8% vs 42.4% ties for the best top line performance Trump has ever had in this poll, also showing this level on September 18. 42.4 is not the lowest Crooked has gone, and the margin between them is not the largest this poll has ever reported, but the trend since 10/23 is positive, and is also one of the longer "upward" trends since 7/10, when the poll started.
All that said, I think this poll is hinky. It makes weird moves, especially in subgroups.
Stupid press! Trump denounces apparent KKK support is like a David Duke do-over. Why doesn't Clinton have to disavow "apparent agreement" from the Communist Party, the Black Panthers, and assorted other groups?
In the same vein, check out Politico's KKK, neo-Nazis and militias plan to monitor urban polling places and suppress the black vote.. "But maybe not" says the article. What a joke.
It is difficult to know at what scale these plans will materialize because Anglin and his fringe-right ilk are serial exaggerators ...And Louisiana Senate candidate David Duke - a former KKK grand wizard who supports Trump but was disavowed by the New York businessman in February after some hesitation in a CNN interview ' said his supporters plan to monitor polls with an eye toward "some of the more inner-city areas" that he said exhibited suspicious voting patterns in the state's 1991 governor's race.
But Duke said his supporters would not limit their efforts to black neighborhoods. "It's good to watch everywhere because there always can be major mistakes," Duke said. "Or unintentional mistakes. Who knows?"
And hey what! Cubs! Very good series this year. I'm rooting for Chicago, because I have much respect for Theo Epstein. I like Tony Francona too (man, has he put on weight), but don;t have any attachment to Cleveland, wehreas my undergraduate time was in nowthwest Indiana, in the penumbra of the shadows of Chicago. Many personal friends there.
Enough rambling from me.
Morning Cboldt, was born in Chicago and spent many summer days in the Wrigley field bleachers (50 cents) watching them struggle with victory right around the corner!
The markets have supported Hillary throughout this campaign. Yesterday the PM’s had a good day and this morning there is unusual follow through. The DOW has held above 18,000 through what is considered the weakest period of the year, but now looks like it may crack below that mark today. To me this bodes well for Trump. We shall see.....
Karl Rove and Larry Sabato were savaging the USC Dornsife / LA Times poll last night. They are both beyond pathetic.
