I have always said:

However, how do we survive a voting public SO stupid and uninformed, that they can be duped by someone like that?”
Precisely! The dumbing down of America, starting in 1965 is now paying off. In an uninformed or misinformed society you get the likes of a Community Organizer for President (BHO) or a Social Worker (Wendy Sherman) as a State Dept. negotiator for Nuclear deals with N. Korea and then Iran.
Both failed miserably in their jobs yet, he was reelected by a very ignorant public. Maybe, just maybe the public has figured out a little more this time around though with all their attention on Kim Kardiashian, I am not very optimistic...
