The remaining 66% are either evil or suffer from brain damage and can vote (or are dead/illegal)!

Project Veritas has promised to release a video early this week showing “them” demeaning and disparaging black people. Its going to be an interesting week, that’s for sure.......................... Like it will be on the Alphabets for a total of 10 minutes combined, if even that. It won’t get the exposure it needs if it is true.

Those decisions are left to each state, not the federal government. Those powers are given to the state by the Constitution.

The House chooses the Speaker of the House, not the president. Every house member gets a vote, including the democrats as to who their speaker will be. Obviously, the dems will vote for Pelosi or they usually do. So let's say Trump makes it known he doesn't want Ryan as Speaker. I can see the scenario of the dems voting for Ryan, so he would easily win anyway.

I think this is best handled behind the scenes. The House members, almost all of them, will owe nothing to Trump. They were all there before him and they will be there after him. I think it is best handled privately with Ryan, get his thoughts, legislation he wants to push, etc. If he is not cooperative, he will need to be undermined - all with no fingerprints - eventually he will see the need to cooperate or go.

Wow. Even Reagan only won 40 states his first time out in 1980 and this country is significantly less white than in 1980. We know Clinton will win CA, NY, RI, MA, IL, WA and OR to start. That is 7 states right there.

Which three do you think Clinton will win? Is this a number you pulled out of thin air or did you sit down and figure this out?

Trump will win but it will be close. Early voting does not show a landslide for Trump yet, but it is too early to tell.

Take away: Whether up or down, there’s no room for complacency. Get the vote out even if it seems we don’t have to.

Didn’t Regan loose just Minnesota during his sweep that the polls had The Peanut Farmer winning? Add them to your list.

Been there several times. They seem so normal. So sweet. Why are they soo screwed up when it comes to elections? Too many Rose Nylund genes in the mix?

The question is can the number of Trump votes overcome the fraudulent votes? Soro’s machines in 16 states. Fat chance.

Maryland where I have to live has gone back to paper. That’s a major stunner! How in the hell this state actually did the right thing is beyond me.

Reagan lost Minn by 10,000 votes in 1984 during his reelection campaign. Reagan won 40 states in 1980 and 49 in 1984. Of course, Minn is Mondale's state and Reagan did not contest it until the very last minute when the polls showed Reagan closing quickly in that state.

Reagan made an unscheduled stop in Rochester, MN the weekend before the election and held an airport rally. The attendance did not matter. It was the press the airport rally was going to generate that mattered and he came close to winning 50 states.

Actually, the polls did favor Reagan on election day in 1980. The one and only debate was held on Sunday night, 9 days before the election. The polls had Carter leading by only a few points and after the debate, the polls moved decisively in Reagan's favor.

Drain that swamp, President Trump!

Lessee what gets stuck in the muck!

Wild ass guess. I am thinking he won’t take Hawaii, NY or RI. This is far from over.

Dave W, I cannot imagine that Ryan would be willing to serve as House speaker if the majority of the Republicans in the House oppose him, even if Dems will vote for him. That would be unprecedented, and Ryan was never clamoring for the job in any event.

I actually think that Paul Ryan is a man of great integrity. He has just been a fool these past 6-9 months and the feckless leader of a feckless GOP caucus.

Yes, I could see a forward-looking President Trump asking Ryan to stay on, and indeed a President Trump might find great advantages to granting Ryan mercy and then turning him into a useful instrument. Trump has his shortcomings, as we all know, but I think he is a born dealmaker and will do well working with the Legislature, foreign heads of state, and so forth. Moreover, he can’t just throw out everyone who declined to support him. He would be at war from day one, which I think will be totally unnecessary if Republicans hold on to both the House and the Senate.

I know that this puts me at odds with many on this board, but I think the GOP has many talented politicians. I think they lack the backbone to stand up to the Democrats, but if Trump wins the Democrats will (and mostly already have) destroy themselves. I think he wants to look forward not backward, and I believe that he can work deals with the majority Republicans in both the House and the Senate.

Damn son........ don’t you know that rational thought is not permitted to refute Free Republic Dogma? Only those that ride the bandwagon are permitted to deviate from the dogmatic settled thought
