That’s a conventional take, but it doesn’t make sense to me for a few reasons. One being that he doesn’t know what in there. As far as integrity goes, that ship has sailed.

Wouldn’t he have to review info indicating a compelling reason to further investigate, and wouldn’t the people presenting that have to show it to him ?
It wouldn't take more than seeing a "From: clintonemail.com" line to create a reason to investigate. That's enough to create "might be something there." It's possible (I think most likely) that everything there is a duplicate of what has already been reviewed by the FBI.
The investigation can branch out like crazy from there. Why and how are they on Anthony Weiner's computer?
