Yes, although I don't think he prepares his remarks or answers. I don't think he's smart enough for that.
He's no different than any ordinary newsreader in that sense.
But Bill Clinton could lie in an instant. He could lie when ambushed by a reporter, on camera. And his lies would be so good that he would get away with them, and did so time after time.
