They rather have her lose so that the “progressives” can finally clear out the old Clinton machine and any aspects of the DNC that stole the election from Bernie.
For the next 5 years they will engage in a cold civil war.
In 2020 they will run a radical young candidate from California and Bernie will become the VP nominee.
Don’t think it will happen but if she did step aside I would bet that they pick Michelle Obama; she’s a woman, a very good campaigner (don’t agree with her on an issue) and she would stir the minority voters. Too short between now and election time to dig up dirt, as well.
