As I watched her being mocked, I thought of how Y’shuah was mocked as he was being crucified. They said to tje lady, isn’t Trump supposed to help you? They said to Messiah, you saved others but you can’t save yourself! Get yourself down off that cross! They tore up the lady’s most prized possessions, the Romans cast lots for Messiah’s only possessions...his clothes. Like a sheep to tje slaughter he opened not his mouth. The lady remained silent in front of her tormentors.
Messiah was glorified by the father for seeking to Glorify the Father, The lady sought to protect the candidate Trump, and now Trump seeks to elevate her.
We were taught that you never know when you are reaching out to an angel unknowingly, to treat the lowly and oppressed kindly. Trump may or may not find her, but if he doesn’t, we have a living, breathing example of a little of what Messiah endured on behalf of those who opposed God. All have fallen short of God’s glory, all jave sinned against God.
It,s just something that came to mind this sabbath eve. God desires mercy. I pray that those who tormented this lady see the light of trith, and tirn from tjeir wicked, cold hearts and was, and see her example as a reflection of God’s gift to us.
I’m surprised that more poor citizens haven’t come out against all the benefits that illegals and refugees are getting, when there are so many citizens and even veterans that need help.
